writing content tip
Even when writing a teaching blog, be sure to never talk down to those you are teaching. You can give instructions and even at a very elementary level without sounding like a “know it all”. Be careful how your tone comes across.

1 John 2:21
I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.
Widen your horizons. Just because most of your readers are this or that, don’t write only for them. Did you know there are tons of daddy bloggers reading mommy blogs? There are nearly as many daddy blogs are there are mommy blogs and sad to say there are lots of single parents out there, so daddy bloggers get lots of info from mommy blogs. Know your audience but don’t write just for your audience.
1 John 2:13
I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.
Remind those you are writing to that you have common interests. what do you have in common with your readers?
1 John 2:12
I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.
Give words of wisdom or tips about things you know. We all know how to do something great. Some time saving, or money saving tip that helps others. folks love “tips”.
1 John 2:1
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
Write from your heart. Your readers should be able to feel your mood. There is nothing wrong with writing something sorrowful if you have experienced something sorrowful. Writing depressing day after day or whining or constant complaining will turn your readers away though.
